Theramag Prefilled Viral RNA extraction kit is an automation ready, prefilled plates for extraction of viral RNA based on our patented magnetic nanoparticle technology. Our technology enables hassle-free high-quality purification of viral nucleic acids that are free of nucleases, proteins, and impurities. These plates are suitably customised to fit most of the leading market available automation instruments. The Viral RNA can be extracted from Saliva, Sputum, Nasopharyngeal and Oropharyngeal swab. The kit has a sensitivity of 95.5% and 100% specificity compared to commercially available kit. The extracted RNA (and DNA) is suitable for direct use in most downstream applications such as one-step RT-qPCR, RT-PCR, PCR and nucleic acid amplification.

• Carrier RNA is to be stored at -20°C upon arrival. MagNa Mix is to be stored at room temperature. For long term usage, it has to be stored at 4°C. All other components have to be stored at room temperature (15-25°C)
